We started out as a hot and swinging 4 piece band...

And now, we're a hotter and even more swinging 6 piece band!

This past Memorial Day weekend (Sunday, May 25th), we had the good fortune of working with bassist Tim Paco and reed man/vocalist Pierre Poree.  We were all struck with how much these fine musicians added to the band.  We simply couldn't let an opportunity like this pass us by, so we invited both Pierre and Tim to join the band.  To our delight, Pierre and Tim eagerly accepted our invitation.

The die has officially been cast.  The Mission City Hot Rhythm Cats is now a 6 piece band!

You just won't believe how hot this band sounds and how hard it swings!  With the addition of veteran New Orleans jazz musicians Tim Paco (string bass) and Pierre Poree (reeds & vocals), the Mission City Hot Rhythm Cats has now turned into one of the hottest and most rhythmically driving bands you're likely to ever hear.

We're now in the process of updating the website.  We're also recording a CD which will be available soon, so check back for more detail and information on the new 6 piece Mission City Hot Rhythm Cats!
