This was a special evening for us. We had several musician friends sit in with us (check out the photos in the photo gallery). One relative newcomer to the South Texas area is the fabulous clarinetist/saxophonist Jonathan Doyle. Here's a clip of Jonathan playing a swinging chorus on 'I Can't Give You Anything But Love.

When these particular video clips
were recorded, the temperature was in the high 90's and very humid; not
exactly ideal playing conditions, but the guys still manage to generate
plenty of heat themselves in spite of the extreme conditions!
Below, Mike and David are splitting a solo chorus on 'Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams.'
Mark is drawing upon many influences on this fiery solo on 'Runnin' Wild.' Earl 'Fatha' Hines, James P. Johnson, Fats Waller and Teddy Wilson are just a few of Mark's heroes.
Here's Eddie's drum solo on 'Runnin' Wild.' It's amazing how Eddie can play so hot on just a snare drum! Check it out!

Eddie has a lot of energy and he really likes to kick off the band on faster numbers, Here we are with a couple of choruses of 'There'll Be Some Changes Made' with Eddie setting the tempo to bring us in. Go Eddie!
